How CareerIbis researches and publishes

Why we publish

CareerIbis publishes practical information about CVs, résumés, job applications and the evidence behind them. The aim is to help candidates understand the decisions involved in a strong application, not simply provide wording to copy.

Evidence before claims

Important claims should be proportionate to the evidence supporting them. We prefer reliable primary sources where available. Where evidence is incomplete, disputed or dependent on a particular recruitment system, we say so.

Experience and interpretation

We distinguish documented fact, practical observation and editorial interpretation. Opinion is not presented as established recruitment practice.

How AI is used

AI may assist with research, analysis and drafting, but it does not decide what CareerIbis publishes. Published material passes through CareerIbis's controlled editorial and review process.

Sources

Research-led articles identify material sources so readers can inspect the evidence behind important claims.

Corrections and updates

We may correct or update material information. Publication and modification dates are retained where appropriate.

Commercial independence

CareerIbis does not alter editorial conclusions to manufacture demand for CareerIbis.
