CareerIbis is currently in private testing. This Privacy Policy explains how CareerIbis handles information during this pre-launch testing period.

CareerIbis helps users analyse CVs, resumes, job descriptions and application context so they can prepare clearer, more role-targeted English application documents. The service is not a recruitment agency and does not guarantee interviews, job offers or hiring outcomes.

This policy may be updated before public launch.

Who we are

CareerIbis is an application optimisation platform being developed to help candidates improve role-targeted CVs, resumes and covering letters.

Information we collect

During private testing, CareerIbis may collect information you provide directly, including:

  • account information, such as your email address
  • CV or resume content
  • job descriptions
  • application context you choose to provide
  • Candidate Profile information saved by you
  • generated application documents and related analysis
  • basic technical information needed to keep the service working

CV, resume and job-description content

CareerIbis may process CVs, resumes, job descriptions and application context to produce alignment reports, role-fit analysis, rewritten CV/resume content, covering letters and related application guidance.

You should not upload unnecessary sensitive personal information. For example, unless it is directly relevant to your application, avoid including information such as full home address, date of birth, passport numbers, national ID numbers, financial information, health information, or other highly sensitive details.

How we use information

CareerIbis uses information to:

  • provide the application optimisation features
  • generate role-alignment analysis and application documents
  • save account and Candidate Profile information where enabled
  • improve reliability, usability and safety during private testing
  • diagnose technical issues
  • communicate with private testers when needed

AI processing

CareerIbis uses AI-assisted processing to analyse CV/resume content, job descriptions and application context, and to generate suggested application documents.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable in some cases. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and approving any generated content before using it in a job application.

Account and authentication

CareerIbis may use authentication providers, including Google sign-in, to allow private testers to access their account. Authentication providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Data retention during private testing

During private testing, CareerIbis may retain account information, Candidate Profile information and application-related content so that the service can be tested and improved.

Because CareerIbis is still pre-launch, data handling and retention practices may change before public launch. If you want your test data deleted, contact hello@careeribis.com.

User choices

You can choose what information to provide. You should only upload or save information that you are comfortable using for private testing.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as CareerIbis develops, especially before public launch.
